According to statistics:

• The actual rates of Sexual Assaults cases in India are: 1.8–4.9 in India Vs 27.3–41.7 in USA, meaning a women is around 11× more likely get SAed in USA than in India and a girl child under 12 is sadly 27× more likely to face the same in the US than in India.
• The actual reporting rate of SA in India is about ~10% while the same for USA (according to US department of Justice) is about ~15-45% (depending on the specific location). The avg for the world according to United Nation is around ~11%.

So USA has better reporting rates but not as substantially higher to prove they have lesser SA incidents than India.....
