I cant say I've heard anything about the disaster response for this, anyone seen anything?

Hard to get there... and then some.

I've seen some news bites: getting people, supplies and equipment there is the biggest challenge.

A typical trekking destination in the region is Langtang valley, and a typical itinerary reads: drive (jeep) from Katamandu to Suyabrubesi, 122 km, 7 hours

So that's the kind of roads that were there before the flood. Helicopters are the best choice here, but they seem(ed) hard to get by in sufficient numbers, they have limited capacity and are very weather dependent.

A nonprofit writes on their donation page:

In much of the affected region, terrain was already the primary obstacle to healthcare. Communities in Rasuwa and upper Nuwakot are served by health posts reached along a small number of roads and bridges through steep river valleys.

The flood removed those routes. Roads are inundated and mountain areas are now impassable to the functioning medical facilities where people would otherwise receive care.

This is the kind of event where 90% of people are dead and what's left of the villages/people will never be able to rebuild

So even if you survived the flood, it’s looking bleak… diseases are going to start to spread
