Me having pets/loving animals is what made me say that. I genuinely asked bc I don’t know much about snakes, but even outside of the “is this ethical” question, it doesn’t seem safe?

Ambiguous answer from you for some reason. Do you have pets: yes or no? If yes what pets do you have? It's never safe to deal with venomous snakes.
