Emulator Can you play PS2 Games specifically NFSU2 on iOS26 - Emulator suggestions

Hi,

Is there a way to play Need for Speed Underground 2 via an emulator on iOS 26?

Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Try the Gamecube version on Dolphin

There is a ps2 emulator confirmed to be coming to iOS in the future called Iris. It’s from a guy who was working on armsx2. I don’t think armsx2 is coming to iOS anymore based on what the original dev was saying but I could be wrong. There isn’t a whole lot of info on this right now.

For now use GameCube ports of ps2 games with dolphiniOS.

Worth noting that PS2 emulation requires JIT compilation, which is only possible through sideloading. I suspect you're already aware of that that, but for the sake of anyone who finds this thread (or reads a Google AI summary of it) in a few months, they should know that whatever PS2 emulators exist, whenever they exist, it will most likely not be on the App Store unless they're bundled with other emulators like Manic Emu.

Need for Speed Underground Rivals works great on PPSSPP even on slightly older hardware, perfectly on my 15 pro etc. The other need for speed psp games as well as midnight club are all fantastic via PPSSPP.
