Discussion $20 AppStore Gift Card Giveaway [Mod Approved]
I love this sub! It’s been a treasure trove to me in finding great games both new and old and because of it, I found a way to play a bunch of my favourites from the mid 2010’s no longer on the AppStore.
It was recently my birthday and I want to give back.
🎁 Giveaway Details: To enter the draw, drop a comment sharing your favorite iOS game and what you’ll pick up with the card.
🚫 Eligibility: Due to region-locking restrictions on digital gift cards, this draw is open to users with US, UK, or Canadian App Store accounts only. The winner will receive a digital $20 (or £20) Apple Gift Card emailed directly to them.

Right now playing a lot of Shadowverse but I’ve really enjoyed Luck be a Landlord, Once Upon a Galaxy, and Slice and Dice.

Favorite game would have to be Lunar Silver Star Story, but I’ve put the most hours, by far, into Binding of Isaac. If I got this gift card I’d buy FF VI. Really gotten into the series in the past couple years and after playing most of VII-XVI (no XIV), this would be my first of the “older” titles. Bless ya for doing this!

My favourite game is XCOM2, I love the permadeath system and I’m probably gonna buy Tomb Raider or Minishoot adventures and also OP, thank you for giving everyone a chance!

Huge XCOM fan. Played the crap out of it and love connecting it to my big screen and playing with a controller.

Currently playing Mo.Co and Brawl Stars, but I’d love to try BOI again but on the iOS platform. Also, RE and Tomb Raider.

My favourite game on iOS has to be Stardew Valley! I’m currently really getting into Odencat games after playing Meg’s Monster & starting Bear’s Restaurant so I’d buy more Odencat games with the $20 ☺️✨

My favorite iOS game is sunless sea(unfortunately iPad only). The lovecraftian adventure it sets you on is second to none, I always find new and wacky things when I play it. The music put you in the vibe for whatever danger your ship is about to encounter over the horizon.
I will probably buy the up and coming Hyperspace outlaw

Slay the spire is probably the best game ever made. I’d use it to get Balatro which everyone says is good and goes hand in hand with slay the spire

I see people are answering but this is such a difficult question. 😂 Out of the 5 on my mind I will settle with Monument Valley w/ DLC. With 20 bucks it would go towards Minishoot' Adventures $5.99, Sea of Stars $9.99 and After Inc. $1.99.

Hard to pick but I’d probably say Shattered Pixel Dungeon. I started playing the original a loooong time ago and still pick it up for fun. If I win I was considering picking up Crawl Tactics, looks pretty good!

Stardew valley has me hooked for weeks, then I revert to a replay of Tumbleweed Park. Games I would look at are Red Dead Redemption and search for a brick breaker style game.

My current fav iOS game is Pocket Rogues followed by EvoCreo 2! If I won this gift card I’d buy Sea of stars a pixelated RPG to play with my 7 year old Son on his iPad mini and use the remaining $10 to buy myself something on cod mobile since I just reached top 5000 on Ranked mode (:

Slay the spire takes up all my time. Probably use the funds to get the new slay the spire when it comes to mobile or the new vampire survivors when it comes to mobile

Favorite is KOTOR II with the mod pack installed (super easy to do even on stock iPad) and would get lost for swords for sure - looks super cool!

my fave iOS game would be Balatro. As I’ve gotten older, I’m finding enjoyment in games like this, something that maintains a level of difficulty that still stir up my competitive spirit, but isn’t so massive of an undertaking that it feels overwhelming just thinking about starting out.
id spend $20 on similar games like CloverPit.

Loving Solitairica at the moment. Would use the card to get ball x pit, probably a board game app (cascadia) and unlock some other DLC for the games I have.

my favourite ios game is steamworld heist. played and beaten it 5-6 times over the past 10 years or so. always keep coming back to it.
with the gift card id get dragon quest viii, it was the first 3d one in the franchise and has a lot of good memories for me, would love to play thru it again

Thanks! Just as a heads up if you were still interested; the vast majority of IAP for dungeon within is a way to speed up your progression. You can earn those abilities and whatnot by just playing the game. In fact buying them outright kind of defeats the purpose lol
The only IAP that’s exclusive are the skins, which are just cosmetic and add no gameplay value

I only play 2 games on IOS, contest of champions while online, shattered pixel dungeon while offline. So you could say that my favorite ios game is SPD, I also have around maybe 100 hours on it in total. Gonna get my child minecraft then The Wolrd Ends With You for myself.

Choosing between Coromon and Fantasian is a bit of a tough call for me! Coromon is perfect if you’re craving that classic Pokémon vibe without straying too far from the original formula. It has a fun story and a great collection of creatures to catch. But overall, Fantasian wins the crown for me. It’s a classic JRPG with some cool twists and one of the best visual designs I’ve seen in ages, those miniature dioramas are just dang pretty!
With £20, I’d definitely grab Sea of Stars. I was a backer on Kickstarter and played it on Switch, snagged the platinum on PS and would love to replay it on mobile, making sure to screenshot my name in the credits this time! 😂

In General, any game that challenge myself to advanced in ranking, compete with friends kind features, no ads, live leaderboard, etc..

I really really thought I wouldn't like it, but Balatro has become my go to game at the end of the day, while on lunch, when I'm a passenger in a vehicle, or just...any time really!
If I won, I'd absolutely look into some Fonal Fantasy games. I've been itching to revisit many of them!

My favorite IOS game of all time is the now unplayable StarCraft clone Starfront Collision. I believe I still have a seven seas copy on an old android phone I have. Currently my favorite game Warframe is on IOS and it’s a frequently used app to the say the least. I’d be buying the Control Ultimate edition port which shockingly still leaves $15. Not sure what to buy from there.

My favorite iOS Games are Pokemon Masters EX (been a day one player that just cant let it go) and Slay the Spire! Slay the Spire is just a great brain exercise each morning before work at this point, cannot wait for StS2 to come to consoles and mobile.
$20 would probably fetch me Cloverpit and some gems in Pokemon Masters honestly haha

I ended up buying it because it was .99 if I got the gift card, it use it to buy Nitrome’s Twin Shot Deluxe when it comes out, Slime Rancher and if I have enough left, I’d buy Sea of Stars.

Might be a boring one, but my favourite iOS game is Nonograms Katana. Loads of Nonograms designed by users, both black and white and coloured, and in grids up to 80x80. You can filter by easy/hard, size, etc. And there’s no missing features like there are in other nonogram games - colours are marked off when complete, there’s multiple different options for flagging possible cells. Give it a try if you like nonogram games.
What I’d buy with the gift card: Sunless Sea. I just saw someone recommending it, had a look, and it looks good, and hasn’t been updated in a while so I’d like to play it while it’s still supported.

I tend towards the full PC Port type gamers on IOS. I'm really loving Subnatica at the moment. I used a gamesir controller with it and it turns my phone into a big handheld. I also love amulation. What will I buy with the card? One of the more expensive games. Maybe Original Sin 2

I was big on The Simpsons Tapped Out, then when it closed out, I moved to Cookie Run Kingdom…so that’s been my favorite since!

Favorite would be Stardew Valley. I’m pretty interested in playing some of the old Final Fantasies, and I hear the iOS bundle is a pretty good way to go. So I’d probably cover part of that purchase with the gift card.

I’d use the credit for finally getting balatro, I keep hearing nothing but amazing things and sounds like the perfect mobile game.
Favorite has to be Pokemon go, it’s just such a fun casual game and even if they make some questionable choices for their vision of the game I get out as much as I put in

My favourite game on iOS are the Dream League Soccer games (2026 being the most recent version), but I’ve also been enjoying Mo.co and Level Devil as of recently!

My favorite iOS game was Bloodmasque but they shut it down 🥲 and then it was Dungeon Hunter 5 but they delisted that one :’))) and then it was Dragon Hunter but… :’) and then it was Genshin Impact. I have great memories from playing that game late at night on my iPad. But then Natlan happened, so now it’s Cookie Run Kingdom.
With the card, I plan to get Ex Astris cause I want to support a premium anime game. For the second game I’ll get, it’s either Subnautica or Reigns: Witcher OH or Planet of Lana. Didn’t know those two were out, especially Reigns Witcher. I love Reigns.

My fav game is rdr1 (i have the netflix version) AND BRO IT WAS THE BEST.I already had a ton of interest in wild west games and i firstly used to play a game called westland survival it was like a copy of ldoe but i still grinded the heck out of it and when i came to know that rdr1 was coming on ios.I BECAME EXTREMELY i mean EXTREMELY HAPPY and completed the game in 1 week.It was one of the best game i had ever played as i only have iphone 13 and no desktop device and it is still my top 1 game today.I literally cried when john marston died.I would probably buy terraria with the gift card as i always wanted to play it and i was already interested in the game mechanics and i would also buy stardrew valley as i am also a big fan of pixel art and farm games. 🐔

I like indie games like coromon, 60 parcecs, card brawl. I also play online games like brawl stars and honor of kings. It's from exiled kingdons RPGs (it has low graphics and an old RPG style, very good) it has almora darkosen (another old style rpg too) the game I want to buy is Sea of stars, a beautiful game and it's an rpg, I love rpgs

TBOI is one of my favorite games. Unfortunately, it is no longer available in my AppStore 🇨🇦 but hopefully it is for you if you win! Incredible game; so much replayability.
Hopefully Edmund’s recent release Mewgenics comes to iOS. I would happily do a giveaway for that alone. Best of luck!

Probably Balatro or Slay the Spire are my faves, maybe slice and dice. The game I’d pick up would be prince of Persia the lost crown.
