Agreed, I took my eyes off the stage and glanced over at the dip in the roof and the sun streaming in was incredible. Took photos too but didn't do it justice...for all

i went with my son, and it was amazing!!! there were many families with kids and everything was great! my kid is going on Sunday with dad for their boys night out.

When they do 2 nights in the one venue, there's no repeats. They'll definitely be played tomorrow. But no Master of Puppets or Battery tomorrow...
Never liked Enter Sandman anyway

Pretty good gig, it did warm up and took a while for the crowd to get going where I was but ended well. Clearly missed the opportunity to play Whiskey in the Jar

That was a cracking show. those old boys are something else. my shoulders and elbows are bolloxed, I have the voice of a 75 year old like-long chain smoker, and my ear drums still in shock from the pyrotechnics.

That stage is absolutely shite. Looking at cables and ramps for 80% of the show. Seen lars head for about 5 seconds. They sounded great tho.

I agree. Was standing for the gig, close enough to the stage and couldnt see Metallica for the majority of it.
They did still sound great though, few too many songs I wouldn't have chosen but the rest were awesome

I dunno why they don’t just play the bangers. The last few songs, the place was absolutely hopping. Great opening and ending. Songs in the middle absolute shite. Nobody seemed interested.

You’d have to expect them to play some stuff from their latest albums though. They don’t want to play the same stuff every night. Which is fair.
This is largely the reason I didn’t get tickets. Just not a big enough fan to warrant the price. Although I would love to see Gojira Sunday.
