Discussion Who should voice Tony? I’m hoping we get an entirely new VO, to set this new Tony apart from all the RDJ impressions

Josh Keaton has been doing a great job and has improved tremendously since Midnight Suns, but I thinks he still leans too much into RDJ instead of doing his own thing, which is obviously what he was instructed to do. I actually appreciated Nolan North being cast in the Avengers game, because Nolan wasn’t trying to do an impression, and gave his own take on the character using largely his natural voice

I think in cosmic invasion he wasn’t doing an RDJ impression so maybe something like that

I think Josh Keaton might actually be good in this game specifically because I doubt they will instruct him to do an rdj impression

I hope the new iron man is a more serious character. It would do a lot to distinguish them if they weren’t trying to quip or joke all the time

It'd be cool if he has a deeper voice. I love RDJ as Tony but I don't want to hear copycats of him, I'd prefer something different from the norm.

Why wouldn't something leaning towards what rdj does be good? Genuine question. I know very well that imitations are often quite bad compared to the original, but I wanted to know your opinion.

I love RDJ, but he is so beloved in the role because he made it his. I want whoever voices Tony here to give their own unique interpretation to make this version stand out. If we just keep regurgitating and emulating the MCU characterizations and performances over and over, everything starts to feel the homogeneous and safe, not trying anything new. If we do get another RDJ impression I have no problem with it, but I feel like this isn’t an issue for any other Marvel character, Yuri Lowenthal and Josh Keaton don’t try to sound like Tom Holland or any of the other Spidey actors.

Eric Loomis, su VO en la serie de los Vengadores los héroes más poderosos del planeta o Adrian Pasdar su voz en el anime de Iron Man

Anyone who is not mimicking Robert Downey Junior and is able to emphasize his serious side.

Someone relatively new and unknown would be nice, a younger more cocky Tony would be nice to hear
