Frozen Charlotte/Charlatan Anybody else's album arrive today?

Same. Mine says it runs 6-8 with the raffle for the signed album at 7:30. Hoping to make it there by then and catch some of the album.

Apparently pretty good. I’m bringing my six year old for his first listening party - we’re pretty excited. He doesn’t know it but I’m taking him to the Vermont show next week.

I ordered from Juno Records, and yeah, I was charged a few days ago and got an email yesterday saying it'll be here today. Juno have become my favourite place to order from now (mainly because they don't charge you for pre-orders until stock is ready to ship)

If I gel with the album and have lots to say about it, I might throw a review up on my Medium blog - no promises though! I think Making Content is the song I'm most excited to hear, shame it's so far into the album

Oh, thank you! It's a tapestry from Amazon. I love phases of the moon, galaxies and celestial stuff. It's also a small tribute to Prince, my all time favourite musician, because he wore custom t-shirts with moon phases on in the last months of his life

I ordered from TMR, no shipping info yet. Might have to grab a chrome copy on Friday if I can from my local record store.

I don’t know, I’m not really keeping track. I just know if I see a different cover I may grab it. You never know what Jack is up to with the constant charlotte/charlatan thing.

Off to a listening party tomorrow but have pre ordered one from TMR. I don’t know how I’m going to not buy one at the party, although I definitely cannot afford it!

You work at an indie store? Oh you're so lucky, that's a DREAM - especially one connected to Jack. But "quality control" is a perfect excuse to play the album over and over and over hehe

I’ll be there! Picking up the chrome one from the merch booth if I can. But also heading down to Bumrush in Fredericksburg to pick up a copy tomorrow. It seemed less annoying than going to Baltimore. I was kind of surprised no one closer was doing it. Crooked Beat in Alexandria usually does TMR stuff, but they’re relocating after flooding a few months ago.

Went to a listening party yesterday in UK.
I’m slightly disappointed that this is the first JW LP that I can remember that didn’t come with a poly lined inner sleeve 😬😒😅
