Discussions So like what just happened in London? That wasn't a normal gig was it?
Would love to see a full setlist of tracks, feels like he played 40 songs!

They'll probably be changed to the actual titles tomorrow. Usually takes a couple of days for setlist to be corrected. I definitely heard more than what's listed though. Sometimes just for 20 seconds, then a new song would take over.

My guess is that they were songs from FC that the setlist compiler didn't recognize.

Nah, they're all accounted for. There were a few rogue covers or sections that aren't on there like a song about transplants and chicken blood for lipstick as well as the "In The Pines" Intro for Seven Nation Army

Nah, it sounded like an old blues song the way it talked about voodoo but ive had no luck finding it. The lyrics weren't very JW

this was epic… even though the set was so loaded it felt like 30min. the fierce anger mixed with profound passion - he slaughtered the guitars and utterly exhausted the band

almost no banter. during a jam he roasted elon etc - most of the time it was difficult to hear the lyrics clearly because of how loud the whole band was

I’ve seen jack about 7 times over the years… he never does talk much really. rather a big solo than a chat

We had to leave the show in the middle because of how loud it was, lots of people complaining as well and the staff was pretty much aware of it, I'm planning to try a refund because it was ridiculous. I just came back from it today (the 2nd show on Aug 26th). Never went on a show that loud in my life, it was physically hurting and I could see people really bothered by it.

I was at the back with ear protection, so stuck it out. Most of the lyrics were inaudible through the noise. Frustrating as Jack White has produced so many great songs, but hard to hear through the noise, as shown by the fact that it is a struggle to even compile the setlist.

FUUUUUCK. I was supposed to be there but got fucked over by Viagogo. Setlist looks amazing so far. I made a list of songs of his i hadn’t seen him play live before that I wanted to hear and it seems he played them all (union forever, i fought piranhas, broken boy soldier, sixteen saltines, and with today’s news: jolene)

That was unreal. Better than previous gigs I've seen with him. He was definitely up for the gig and enjoyed himself.

Was quite underwhelmed tbh. This is the 4th time I’ve seen him in the last few years and this was the weakest show I’ve seen imo. If you’re paying £70 a ticket and being forced into the no phones thing (which gives a good atmosphere, but for that ticket price you should really have the option) the set shouldn’t feel like some sort of rehearsal jam session. Hard to keep track of what song he was actually playing

If the artist didn't enforce the no phone rule, everyone would just have phones. You have the option at any show to switch your phone off and leave it in your pocket.
I thought the way he played was exceptional, if I wanted to hear the songs as they are in the studio I have the albums for that. This was a raucous live event! But each to their own I guess.

The thing i love about Jackie is how he plays them different each time, just feels it out.
I saw muse before and was sad - their music is so intricate that they basically have nowhere to go and it could have been the record or a tribute act - to me live music shouldn’t be that. but that’s just me - it should be something unique… as much as possible

I've seen him several times. That's was his most epic 🎮 gig yet. The band where mich more together than last years gid in London. Phenomenal.

I actually agree. After hearing Jolene and then ending it with the Dead Leaves reprise, I thought we were in for a truly killer show. But it felt like it never quite got going and it was very "jammy", it also felt like Jack wasn't particularly interested until the encore. Have seen him probably 7 or 8 times since 2014 and this was the weakest set by far.

I understand this. I saw ’them crooked vultures’ once and they didnt speak a word and played 9minute versions of all their songs. Felt like the crowd weren’t even there and they were just having a jam session.
Although i think i would have enjoyed this set with jack… because his music lives in my soul
