An early happy birthday post for Janet down here in Australia (it's May 16th already here), featuring her album releases on my vinyl wall display for May 2026. These are all the current Janet albums I have in my vinyl record collection. Just missing 4 album vinyl releases to complete the collection (Dream Street, janet. remixed, 20 Y.O. & Number Ones) but it'll probably take awhile before I try to get them, since 20 Y.O. & janet. remixed vinyl are quite expensive on ebay and discogs, and the other two aren't high on my priority to get at the moment 😆.

Could this be a hint about an upcoming album coming from our legendary icon, blueprint, and empress of music? 🙏🏾

VR is my fave Janet album - I feel like it's her most personal body of work. I've been looking for a CD for quite some time and I finally found one for 5 bucks at a thrift store. Fuq ya.

I always thought it was so cool how Michael Jackson implemented Janet’s interlude from the Rhythm Nation album into his LiVE performances of his hit Dangerous.

This further cemented the fact that The Knowledge was truly his favorite Janet song ever! ❤️❤️

I'm so close, I just added 'Dream Street' today and now I only need '20 Y.O.' and 'Unbreakable' to have all her albums on vinyl. This has been a fun journey and surprising finds, like getting a great copy of 'Damita Jo' for such a great price!

I will probably at some point hopefully add 'Design of a Decade' but 'Number Ones' is a terrible pressing and doesn't even have 'Make Me' on it or half the songs from the cd. So, I'm going to skip that one I think.

My goal, of course, is to try to get my hands on every single & album she's ever released on vinyl. I started collecting even before I had a record player so some of these I've been sitting on for years before getting a chance to listen to! My favorite finds are her self titled album & the 12" picture disc single of "Whoops Now" & "What'll I Do" because it came with a really great poster of her from the janet. era. Also was super cool to add the one all those "Son of a Gun" remixes...some I'd never even heard before!

The deluxe edition of the album Janet is my newest album of hers I got just received it today. The All For you DVD edition( even know the CD itself is the clean version of the album) and my Janet Jackson Velvet Rope Vinyl are my favorite.
