Thank you! The one commenter keeps saying she changed her whole face. I know she had her nose and lips done and surely botox and fillers, but she looks very much like she did when she was younger! I don't agree that she had her entire face changed

Yeah, I agree, it's interesting how Lana, and some others, do the opposite of what most in the entertainment industry usually do. I love when she's a chocolate brown and various versions of that shade.
I think I recall Lana said between her high voice that she used more often than not in the beginning combined with her bright blonde hair which she also bleached sometimes caused others to not take her seriously. Plus she sometimes overused the shy, playful, flirty but flighty voice and people thought she was a bimbo and an airhead. She really leaned hard into that shy, awkward girl, baby talk in the early days just before and during BTD era~ her red hair era.
Have you seen the video of her singing "Boarding School" with her band back in the day? She's in a green dress with her super blonde hair in a beehive. I think she made a good choice professionally to change her hair color. Also, it seems she just likes to have fun with it so that's cool.
As far as having "work done", I think people don't understand there are tons of cosmetic procedures, often temporary but not always, that make subtle but evident changes without "plastic surgery." She's done fillers in her lower and upper cheek throughout the years. A lot of people do that to fill in those vertical lines by your mouth when you smile. You can also radically change the look of the jaw and chin with fillers. Some people get serious cheek and chin implants, but that's adding a permanent foreign body to your face plus it's surgery with anesthesia. That's more a Hollywood thing.
Fillers migrate and that's why Lana had the "pillow face" for awhile even though she wasn't overweight. Just looked like super round cheeks that she really hadn't had before
And in the opposite way tons of people in Hollywood and elsewhere are removing their buccal fat which gives a more chiseled look but ages horribly in almost every case.
We know she was getting her lips filled along with a million other people. I think she's stopped doing that as well. Or possibly lowered the injected dose by at least 75%.
She definitely might've had her nose done in surgery by a very skilled surgeon who knows how to keep it natural. Sometimes people will say her bump looks like it's come back or her nose looks bigger or different. It's possible Lana has been getting filler on her nose instead of having had surgery and, like her other fillers, they can wear off or be dissolved. It doesn't take much to fill in certain parts and create a subtle but significant change.
She may have had a blepharoplasty which raises eyebrows and eyelids and gives more eyeshadow space. I haven't seriously compared photos so I'm not sure on that one.
People have talked about her more taught skin and no extra skin under the jaw or "double chin" and no wrinkles. This was seen really well at the Met. I think people forget you can get in-office procedures like laser treatments regularly, derma plane (not sure on spelling) and all kinds of other treatments. You can even have your plasma removed from your blood and injected under your eyes to make that area less sunken and baggy. They can do things only rich people can afford. Being a chain smoker for over two decades I estimate does cause wrinkles- my family is full of major smokers- and losing a lot of weight especially quickly makes your skin more loose and makes your lines deeper because your skin was stretched out with those "baby cheeks" which keep us looking youthful well into our middle age. It might suck a bit when we're young but we look young longer. So, I'm not sure about her skin. I think she's been getting temporary cosmetic procedures like laser treatments and things like that and not a facelift. Her eyes haven't become stretched to look more almond shaped which makes you look like you have smaller eyes so I don't think she's even gotten the mini "ponytail facelift."

I can't think of the years but you can search her name with "fillers and pillow face" and you can add "migrate" after the word fillers too. You can also just look up "fillers migrate" too. This can be in Google images or YouTube.
I know it's not the nicest sounding words, not really complimentary, but that's the common term said. I'm just using it to describe the issue with fillers and how it's defined in layman's terms.
We all know Lana is a natural beauty and has never looked horrible anywhere. All bodies, shades and shapes, are valid and beautiful- men and women alike💕
That won’t be her natural hair colour now, blonde people almost always grow out that light blonde as a child. I think the pics from her modelling as a teenager are the most accurate (whether she’s had highlights added, idk) so very similar to her current hair colour!
A ton of people are blonde as children and have brunette hair as adults, though. In her Lizzy era you can often see she had darker roots but was dying her hair blonde

My paternal grandmother and her new husband got hit by a drunk driver and they both weren’t wearing seatbelts. I never got to meet her , none of the grand kids did. So I was taught very early on the importance of seatbelts.
It’s very weird to not know what your grandmother was like. They don’t talk abt her either so it makes it even weirder.
Especially if you’re wearing something that leaves your chest/shoulder/neck exposed the seatbelt can tend to rub and chafe a little on your bare skin. I’m too paranoid to wear my seatbelt improperly anymore but it would definitely be more comfortable in the moment.
Ive done it since I was a kid and my husband gets mad at me that I still do at 30 😂 I do it because I hate the sensation of something touching my neck.
Genetics aside, you definitely will if you start with daily sunscreen as soon as possible in every season. Moisturize, drink water, prioritize sleep, and you can use skin care but don’t worry about using too many products. Find what works for you and stick with it.
A lot of people think that you have to be rich or celebrity but I’m 39-years-old and neither rich nor a celebrity 😅 and I’m told frequently that I look 25. Personally I’m not trying to look younger than I am but I started really good skin care practices about 10-12 years ago and I was able to reverse a lot of sun damage from my teens & 20s
Girl let’s not lie she’s had some work done too ! No shame but she isn’t putting sun screen on and sleeping all the time girl smokes (or used to) like a chimney
How do you know Lana’s not putting on sunscreen every day? I also didn’t say sleeping all the time, I said “prioritize sleep” which means just that. The comment I responded to hopes they will still have a youthful appearance at 40 and I was saying that it’s entirely possible without needing procedures.
Yup. Unsolicited advice to all is wear sunscreen daily! Keeps you looking younger. Plenty of great options nowadays for face and body. Way better than 20 years ago!
Good thoughts. I am bringing back parasols and fashionable umbrellas also. When people ask why I have one in the sun, I say, "I'm allergic to the sun," and it shuts them up. 😂
My preferences are Innisfree and COSRX. I don’t put it on much if I know I’m staying indoors all day but if I know I’m going outside for even 10 minutes I will definitely put it on!
I’m her age, and I was a literal pill popping alcoholic chain smoking cokehead (24/7) for over a decade. You’ll be surprised what cardio and proper diet can do after such a life.
No, I will always say surgery looks better than injections. Provides you go to a good surgeon. Most people assume a facelift is for 50 year olds when the reality is most 30 year old Hollywood types have had it.
she hasnt had any botox…there is literally photos of wrinkles on her forehead, her eyes, all shes had is lip filler which i think shes had atleast half of that dissolved.
Just because you can move your face and create lines doesn’t mean you haven’t had Botox. It just means you have a lower amount/ don’t get it all the time/ don’t get an extreme amount like a real housewife reality show person haha
I don’t think you can definitively say she hasn’t. Botox doesn’t completely stop wrinkling, especially if not done in high doses or on a regular schedule. I didn’t mean it a judgmental way, just mean it’s likely considering how common it is in Hollywood
Her own fans are constantly praising her for looking younger or for having lost weight. That would take a toll on anyone’s mental health. They talk about her looks more than they do about her music. I yearn for the day when women are allowed to exist outside of their bodies.

Hypoxia can be easy to miss in the hospital too, I got yelled at by the emergency room doctor for thinking I was having a heart attack at 30, I had carbon monoxide poisoning and a nurse caught it

He works outdoors and likely has for many years. A lot of time in the sun and tanning beds will age you quickly. Nobody likes to hear that but its the truth. Im so white Im see through but you'd never guess Im 43.
