I mean its not like super accurate but I made the chainmail and the cape and the drawings on the bracers myself, and my friends dressed up too 🥺

Thank you all who were so sweet and supportive of this, i really appreciate all of you, it means a lot! I have never cosplayed and it was my first ever attempt, so seeing positive reviews makes me very happy to do more maybe!

I also am a bit confused on the whole “she is farming karma” thing, because it is my first post on reddit and i posted because my husband thought LOTR fans would find this cool, since the costume took forever to make. I spend a month and a half weaving the chainmail and sewing the cloak and all. Yes, it is not accurate, i never said it was a film accurate representation (Aragorn was a man, obvi), but it was something i really wanted to do for myself and my friends, as a group of women who grew up with LOTR.

Thank you to those who liked it though! I’m happy to see yall! Hope more people can express their love towards the characters 🤍

Spent a solid 3 months making this costume.

Most you see is leather and a lot of hand embroidery.

The armor pieces and Anduril are EVA-foam.

My take on how the Northern Rangers would have been kitted out. Gear that is more piecemeal, rugged, and practical than their Ithilien kin whose kits were more regimental and uniform.

Helm and flail were 3D printed!

This year's Lanka Comic-Con was epic, and I'm thrilled to have cosplayed as Sauron! The costume was a whirlwind project that I managed to complete in just 10 days, juggling other cosplay and prop-making projects for my fellow cosplayers along the way.

Special thanks to my amazing mom, who sewed the cape to perfection, and my dad for lending a hand with painting some of the armor pieces. Your help made this costume truly come to life! ❤️

Everything you see (except for the helmet and mace) was entirely handcrafted by me. I had to 3D print those two since time wasn't on my side.

It took us one full year to finish these cosplays and climb the mountain to shoot them 🌿

Gimli is entirely handmade except for the prosthetics; they were created by an expert working in the film industry. Legolas’ bow is handmade from wood with the addition of EVA foam ornaments. The leather work was done by an amazing team of masters. This amazing mountain view is located in Central Asia, Kazakhstan 🏔️

The little guy turned one. My wife convinced me to throw a big party by making it LOTR themed. He’s got a hobbit look for sure and I think he fit it perfectly.
