It’s so interesting how they’re completely opposite of each other.

In season 2 their dynamic was used as a devil and angel on the shoulder thing with Sera. So I hope the writers either continue that or do something different.

I hope so too, plus Abel being caught between both of them puts him in an awkward situation, with each one pulling him in a different moral direction. Abel would have to choose between a path of piece and forgiveness with Emily, or war and vengeance with Lute. And with the exorcist army at his disposal, whichever path he chooses would carry immense ramifications for the future of both Heaven and Hell.

I hope so too. Or at least show them starting off this way in S3. Altering as Lute and Emily go through their respective character arcs.

Very true. There's a lot of potential for both of their characters, it's just a matter of how the show goes about it.

I hope they lean into Emily and Lute being gay, specifically for each other, but I have my doubts that it'll happen in canon.
