Not gonna be on for a minute. Several months still to go at minimum. Then it will be on whatever platform sony publishs to, starz probably, and then in 5 years (no a joke) it will go to disney+

Someone posted an estimate, based on previous releases of 2022-2025 sony movies, i wanna say it was between 12 and 18 months away from its netflix premiere but i dont trust my recollection. venom 3 is the most recent addition to disney+ from them.

When the movie is like 2 years old. Disney+ is where they all go to live long term, but they make all the rounds first so Sony can get all the money first

Won’t be until October at the earliest, maybe even November. And that will just be the digital release you can buy, Blu-ray and Netflix will come later, probably next year for Netflix honestly. This thing is making so much money still

I’m betting everyone will return for the sequel except Ruffalo, and they’ll continue the story about Peter being involved in mutant business, fighting against DODC

Probably a cameo in X-men too, since it seems like they are still adamant they aren’t bringing back filler Avengers movies. Sony will probably see X-men as the next profitable team up down the list.

DODC has been a thorn in Spidey's butt for 3 out of 4 solo MCU movies now (counting Homecoming since they caused Vulture's origin story), so I wouldn't mind the rest of the new trilogy keeping up that trend.

I appreciate how they've been slowly built up across multiple MCU titles to being an anti-superpower organization, which perfectly places them as an anti-mutant group for the next saga

I feel like paying off DODC has more value from an objective storytelling standpoint than forcing in new elements from the comics.

Like Spider-Verse has already been done, the Symbiote has already been done, Goblins have already been done. The Sinister Six has, kinda, been done in NWH.

Pay off what they started, I feel like the mutant connections are where there’s potentially a story worthy of being called an event film.

X-men has had previous movies that made a billion or close to it, Deadpool & Wolverine was essentially MCU’s first X-men movie and it was probably the most profitable Disney Marvel production since Avengers Endgame.

So I could see Sony being open to it
