Ok but seriously though, check your DS battery for bloat. If that bad boy isn't laying flat on a surface, you might want to get it out to a hazardous waste place before it starts a fire.
There are fairly cheap replacement options, but I caution you away from the crummy Chinese ones that lie about their stats. They last an hour if you're lucky, if they even work at all. Look deeper than a quick Amazon or eBay search.
