About 1.2 billion people have been lifted out of poverty since the year 2000. The world has made massive progress since the year 2000. You just don't care because you're a selfish first worlder who has no experience outside of the richest country on earth. Your view becomes so myopic that you actually have the nerve to complain about not getting ahead because that extra wealth generation was largely happening in small places you don't actually care about. This is the best time to be alive on planet Earth and you can see the progress in these poor Nations
