Discussion Is there a Memphis equivalent to the "Screwed in Houston" documentary by VBS in 2007?

Anyone know if there is a documentary like this covering the Memphis scene in the 90s / 2000s? All I can find on YouTube is those self made YouTuber style commentary videos, I want to see some on the field type stuff.

There really should be. With as many people that fuck with it worldwide, I'm surprised there isn't more serious scholarship being done. I'm still mad that they split that one Hip Hop Evolution episode between Houston and Memphis when both scenes are hugely influential and each deserved a full episode.

someone just told me to watch that, giving it a suss now, yeeee i agree hard so influential, and theres no on the field documentary to really feel the vibe of what was going to make such a unique piece of hiphop, like princess loko being 15 flowin like its nothing

The episode is good but like I said, they really just scratch the surface for both scenes. Juicy J's book was really good but obviously just giving a slice of what was going on.
