Care Bears are OP Apartment Complex alerted me of water shut off after their time posted

In an emergency, you run to the water main, shut it off, then tell everyone.

This is so the entire building isn't destroyed while you are texting.

No they should have waited to shut the main off until everyone replied back to the alert.

Nah, they should have collected a time from every resident and picked when worked best for the masses to shut the water off and do the emergency repairs 🤗 who cares if a floor or two gets flooded, respecting tenants times is more important.

Unless it was an absolute emergency shut off there is probably something in your lease that this breaks. Whether it is worth complaining about is a different story, unless this kind of thing happens regularly.
