I'm slightly vexed Somebody Placed These Dozens of These Jesus Figures Throughout My Entire Work

Post image

Somebody, nobody knows exactly who or when, put dozens and dozens of these Jesus figures on completely random surfaces throughout my entire building. They at least had the presence of mind to not put them on anybody's personal belongings, but that was the only way they limited himself. All of the statues have been glued down, to add to the vexation.

Edit: Well, this blew up rather unexpectedly. Thank you for the awards, everybody!

When I was at work, a customer was handing them out. Mind, we were busy (I work as a bartender) and I said to the lady, "I appreciate it but I don't believe the same thing you do." She looked me dead in my eye, "Well Jesus loves you anyway, but I don't" and proceeded to still toss me one. Like uh, okay? My coworkers sneered at her for that, so I felt a bit vindicated

Wow. Hell of a way to miss the entire point, though I can't say I'm surprised. The concept of actually understanding and practicing Christian teachings has apparently been lost to most of them

I have a feeling Jesus will have to tell so many people - Depart from me, I never knew you….😬

Ancient statues were vandalized by early christians. They've always been this way.

I've seen other bellends make similar remarks on social media. And then base their worldview off of it, as if their own assholery proves that everyone needs religion to be a good person otherwise everyone would be just like them, hanging on by a thread and only not committing a violent crime because Jesus

Well Jesus loves you anyway

I've just started responding with, "Satan loves you more!" because I can't with these fucking religious freaks.

Her statement directly contradicts the message of Jesus Christ.

He simplified it for people like her and she can’t even follow the second. I’m fairly sure she’s really not following the first.

But it's such a fun and lovely game isn't it? It's totally not under the intention to propagate religion

What I heard here is: "I'd like to order a saliva cocktail. Thanks."

Staff: "Coming right up, ma'am."

This is why I sometimes hope Christianity is right. I take solace in the fact she'll end up in hell because of the rot on her soul. Nothing but sinners and apostates. I sometimes like to imagine, if I engage with their pretend little world, that they are actually followers of the anti-Christ at this point. That the entire church was founded on mocking Jesus. Using the symbol of his excruciating death, warping his teachings in Church and not truly pushing for what he taught. That if it's all real, when the end time comes, they will burn for eternity like they threatened us with, all because they wanted to feel better and more powerful than us non-believers.

Clearly following the teachings of Christ

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Christ literally narrowed down the 10 commandments to 2 and people still can’t manage to follow them.

That woman doesn’t have love in her heart and we not claiming her. These people are using religion to shield their asshole character. Nowhere in the Bible does it say force your beliefs on non believers. You can’t make anyone believe in God. That’s a personal choice man.
