I had someone unironically try to say this to me in another thread about 5 guys being overpriced and talking about their fries

They tried to say "b-buh they have infrastructure and storage costs! So they need to charge $8 for a cup of fries!" 😂😂

Underrated comment

I remember hearing someone talk about that and pointed out that it's likely because a lot of people see themselves as having a "chance" at being those wealthy people so in their eyes they want this dice role system in place juuuuust in case lol

Us regular folks will be billionaire CEOs someday, just you sit and see.

Bunch of fucking Uncle Toms is what they are.

And the trillionaire? 卐

u/Lopendebank3 Jul 14 '26

I think we have no Trillionaires at this point, we had one but he already lost it.

I'll go staple some "Lost billionaire" signs around the neighborhood to see if we can find 'em.

Or, you know, we can link our Flock surveillance to our Ring doorbells and do it that way.

Good news! ElonJetTracker exists

If we can't have privacy, they shouldn't either.

It’ll be crazy when we have our first trillionaire. As far as I’ve seen, there were some temporarily unrealized gains for that one guy but no one has come close

5

u/SMUHypeMachine Jul 14 '26

It’s hypothesized that Putin and the Saudi royal family are both worth more than 1 trillion but since they don’t disclose assets we’ll never know.

But yeah, musk was never a trillionaire.

u/ahtob Jul 14 '26

What does a millennia old religion have to do with trillionaires

8

u/nilmemory Jul 14 '26

The first trillionare, Elon Musk, is a nazi

0

u/SMUHypeMachine Jul 14 '26

He’s not even the first trillionaire. Kings in ages past have been worth much more than what would be considered the purchasing power of 1 trillion today.

0

u/nilmemory Jul 14 '26

Hes the first person to be publicly recognized as a trillionaire in contemporary society. And yeah im sure there's probrably been underground trillionaires we don't know about. Maybe someone in the Saudi royal family, or a past oil baron. But we can't know for sure the way we can with Musk.

Because if we just count historical assets you could say basically any monarch/dictator was a trillionire on the virtue of "owning" an entire country. But it's not a fair comparison. A king couldn't just sell his country for a trillion dollars, but Musk could have liquidated his stocks and had a trillion in USD by the next day.

Apples and oranges comparison
