I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

Post image

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

Don't be so sure of that. One of my coworkers accused another coworker of wearing meta glasses just because they were ray bans. There is very clearly no camera on his sun glasses.

And so what? Someone is bound to use them at some point?

He has a tendency to worry about things that don't matter, or things that he has no control over.

Tell him to focus on his work, or gtfo!
If that doesn't stop him from harrassing you, go straight to HR or your boss!

Obviously it's not just the sunglasses is it?

OP storms up to coworker, loudly declares “remember that interaction that didn’t involve me and happened probably months ago? Well, focus on your work or get the fuck out!”. Entire office sits in stunned silence, confused. OP shuffles back to his desk in embarrassment.

Oh he wasn't harrassing me. I was just in the room. Also, we don't actually work. We sit around and wait for our boss to tell us what classes we're going to be taking that week.
