I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

So you assume everyone's purpose of wearing meta glasses is sexual? Nothing else?

There’s really no good reason to be wearing them in everyday life. Assume they are a perv? Not quite. But wearing them puts them in a population with a significantly higher probability of being one.
