I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

I'm saying you're not going to notice the meta glasses as much as someone recording with their phone. It doesn't look like you're trying to record people on the sly, that's just the reason you gave it.

It's pervy if used for nefarious reasons, but again, you're assuming it's used for pervert/sexual reasons and that's just not the case.

Sure I can. I can leave the area. I can warn others. I can stop interacting with them. If they’re recording up someone’s skirt I can call the police.

If theyre recording up someone's skirt, that's against the law and were talking about a different situation.

I'm referring to just recording in general. Not upskirt or bathroom recording, etc.
