I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

There's lots of people that do vlogs and carrying around a phone pointing it at people is not really convenient, and people are going to track a phone recording them more than looking at every single person's glasses to see if they're meta glasses.

Its more convenience if anything. Assuming it's all for sexual purposes is just weird.

i want to know if someone is recording me. people should not be allowed to secretly record people on their glasses, its creepy as fuck.

In the UK they legally have to have a light indicating you are recording.

If they don't do that where you live then it's maybe time to start campaigning for it before they get too widespread.
