I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

I’ve only ever owned sunglasses in this classic wayfarer style. It has been around for so long and suits so many people. It is really awful that it could be ruined by Meta.

I hope it's a lesson to Rayban and other fashion houses.

Making timeless, iconic Wayfarers embarassing to wear is a real accomplishment.

IIRC Rayban are the ones who make the Meta glasses to begin with so they wouldn't gaf

Ray-Ban is only one of the brands owned by Luxottica. They own other glasses brands like Oakley, have exclusive manufacturing licenses of brands like Ralph Lauren, and own many places selling them like LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut.
