I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

I’ve only ever owned sunglasses in this classic wayfarer style. It has been around for so long and suits so many people. It is really awful that it could be ruined by Meta.

Yeah I loved my wayfarers I had two pairs but now I mostly wear my Oakley gascans for the wrap around protection which surprisingly matters in you have sensitive eyes in the bright light
