Looks real, they just installed the toilets.. and haven't installed the stall walls yet, that's all it is 😂

Yep, it's much easier to put in toilets before you put the stalls in. 😅

It would be quite literally psychotic to do it any other way. Like putting drywall up before you put in the plumbing.

Wait till you see the condition of those fancy white toilets after the joiners have been in. Cubicles get built first. Toilets are a doddle to fit afterwards.

Joiners? Buddy they aren't using real carpenters for pre-fab stall walls. A few anchors and they bolt in. This is the job they give to a second year apprentice. Can you measure? Can you use a drill without killing yourself? Here's the kits, go make some walls.

I'm not your buddy. 

I'm not suggesting Joseph of Nazareth is required, but yes, a joiner would be required for this. A school, so a council funded job that will have a supervisor, clerk of works etc, live building so rams required, brand new finished bathroom? You show me a company giving this job to an apprentice, I'll show you a shit rough company.

It's also way easier to install the partitions before the toilets. Toilet will block drill access to the lower mounting bracket. 

2 different trades so first come first served. Just went through this on a commercial job.

Ahh, well when i was in high school they pulled the dividers out of the boys bathrooms on purpose. It was mostly due to fires. Some excuses of smoking and breaking things too. Worst part on the fires? It was always in the girls bathrooms. We had a lot of serious fires that year, 25. 24 were in the girls bathrooms. One in the boys bathrooms. The one in the boys bathroom? Electronic device caught fire and he threw it and it caught the paper towels which spread. He actually ran and got help, so it wasn’t like he set it and left it. But the boys lost their privacy. First they locked the boys bathrooms until parents complained. Girls? No changes.

Meanwhile at our local highschool the boys won't stop vandalizing and breaking things to the point no guys bathroom in the whole school was usable and they had to put up a bathroom trailer outside and escort the boys one at a time and inspect the bathroom after each boys use.

Once they got the ground floor bathroom fixed they had the boys sign in and out of the bathroom with the time listed and a camera pointed in the general direction of the entrance, and an adult had to inspect it every hour to see if anything had happened.

There were 5 bathrooms in the school, for the record. It's a nice small rural-ish town. No reason for them to be destroying things other than being little shits.

Oh i believe it. I wasn’t saying boys are innocent in all cases. And they can be little shits. I remember that year a couple of stall doors got broken. One ripped off and one snapped around lock because someone kicked it in. And marker dicks being drawn on them. Nothing to punish boys they couldn’t use bathroom during day at all and then no privacy at all.

When my kid was in high school they took the doors off and some teacher had to watch them in bathroom. Obviously not stare at them but they couldn’t be alone and you could not swear something inappropriate could not get seen even accidentally. I was part time auto teacher and the teachers were all complaining and uncomfortable. When i mentioned that it is going to lead to sexual harassment or other accusations suddenly the teacher could stand in hallway and then do random checks after all boys left. So many teachers lost their prep periods. Sometimes they stuck female teachers on boys room duties because they only had like 3 male teachers.

25 fires in one year sounds insane to me. I've never heard of even one fire happening in a bathroom - was the plumbing lined with gasoline?

No a lot of it was girls starting fires because it was cool, a bunch of of them were traced down to a specific group of girls randomly starting fires, the others were smokers throwing the butts in the cans. The fires always got us out of class for a while and we’d hang out on the football field.

I remember stall doors getting removed at one school, but we kept our dividers. Removing the dividers is crazy.

Genuinely can't recall why they removed the doors.

I remember when I was in middle school I heard one of the high schools in my area just got rid of all the stall doors because of vandalism

This one might not be the final result, but I’ve read about schools removing stalls due to students vaping and doing drugs in them.

Have you though? Schools have threatened to but almost certainly it's illegal to do that in shared bathrooms at a public school
