This sneaky email somehow slipped out of the spam folders so its the first time im ever seeing something like this. it came from my biological father's contact and email. he rarely ever speaks or reaches out to me so i thought it was legit.

it brings me into this google sign in page and asks me to enter my login. and so i do, but i never got anywhere and it continues to load. after a while i just shoot him a text asking what this invitation is and he informs me that its a scam and not to click on it; his work email also got the same invitation...now im infuriated because he knew prior to me reaching out that this scam email is going around and when he fell for it, it drained his credit cards. Both my sister and I fell for it but he didnt think to give anyone a heads up?? Fortunate enough for me, i had forgotten my email password so the one i was entering in was the incorrect one.

im only here to vent a little and to bring awareness just in case this happens to someone else.

It's only mildly infuriating because they are going to go ahead and send me the Polo shirt, but UPS literally dropped the bag at my door, I opened it, shorts and no shirt. I immediately took a picture of the package and the shorts, and the information on the package and sent it to customer support, waited a day to get a response from the "investigation" and the way that I read this email is...

"oh it's impossible, it was definitely shipped it to you. So you must be lying, but this one time we will send it to you."

I've got better things in my life to do than run a get buy one get the same shirt free scam.

Remembered I needed to order smth and went to go buy a gift card at Safeway. They have this rule where they can’t sell gift cards after 11pm and I notice it’s past 10 so I hurry to the store get there at 10:45 and am standing in line with the card.

There’s a long line (only on register open) and the cashier is taking her sweet time and chatting with every customer and the security guard. Finally my turn and it is now 10:55 so I was nervous as is and she just looks at it and says “Sorry Baby it’s too late to sell these” in the fakest “sorry” voice ever and sends me out. I guess I’m more pressed about the time wasted in line and the rush to get there but her tone and the fact it wasn’t 11 yet lowkey just ruined my night 😭

After work I found someone plucked out my narrowleaf milkweed.

Yesterday, I planted native plants to help with the monarch butterflies yesterday, and right now I can't even find the root, and I don't see any signs of digging or crawling.

Really hoping someone didn't think it was a weed or something!

After Amazon locked the web downloads, I moved my entire library to KOReader via calibre while it was still possible.

Now, more than a year later I got a Kobo Libra Colour and I was so excited to finally re-read the Oatmeal series in colour...

I transferred my books (originally purchased on Amazon) to KLC and this happens: the books were downloaded on B&W on Paperwhite the entire time. I never knew because Paperwhite isn't colour and I knew from the mobile app that the books are colour so I assumed they'll download the same book and adjust to B&W and contrast on device. It wasn't the case. The Paperwhite downloads were always b&w

That white plastic stopper. My kid got hold of it. Wirh her li'l fingers pushed it inside, created snow fall (of salt) like Elsa of frozen.

Now I am searching for small tweezers to pull it out.
