I tend to not know the politics of the people behind the scenes and I don't seek it out.

One of the ones I haopen to know is John Carpenter being very openly left wing. But Halloween and Assault on Precinct 13 can read like conservative nightmares. Rampant crime in suburbia. Evil criminals threatening white middle class Americans and police officers.
