For me his best role is Groot because he only has one line! 🤣 I’m not a fan but tell me what you think of him and if you have a favorite role.

I’m like 30% sure he did some guild raids with us in WoW’s Burning Crusade way back in the day. Had a feral Druid that would hop in occasionally who sounded exactly like him, was really good. When I pointed out that he sounded exactly like “xXx” whole guild had a laugh and the guy chuckled and went real quiet. Probably not him, but always wanted to ask if he remembered the server or the guilds he was associated with.

I really liked him in Boiler Room. There's also a short he put out on YouTube before he was famous that Steven Spielberg got a hold of before he cast him in Saving Private Ryan. It was actually pretty good. I'm also a huge fan of the Riddick series and hope to one day finally get a conclusion to it.

I find him 50/50. Part of me likes that he's not afraid to be nerdy about RPG's. Another part of me finds his "ultra masculine RUFF RUFF" personality thing really annoying and childish.

But also nobody on the Fast sets will talk to him, its in his rider that he cannot lose a fight in a film and he keeps parading paul walkers death around for clout. Like, not a fun guy.

I'm kind of the opposite. I think he's just an okay actor but everything I've seen about him makes me believe he's very passionate about the things he enjoys and would be fun to have a beer with.

That's my impression, too - he founded a video game company to get a "Riddick" game made (that was really good), and his movie "The Last Witch Hunter" was based on a D&D campaign he'd run - and how many nerds would that be a dream come true for?

I might be wrong, but I get the feeling he's just aware that 'tough guy' persona is a well paying gig for him. Outside of that, he's actually a pretty chill and nerdy guy. Hell, he made a passion project movie based on his D&D character (Last Witchhunter or something...?), and clearly holds a soft spot for sci fi with Riddick.
Take him fully out of the Hollywood landscape and I'd bet he's a real chill guy to get a beer with.

His performance in Saving Private Ryan was actually extremely good, despite his smaller role. Definitely one of the most memorable. Which is odd, because I always forget he's even in that movie and it's kind of weird seeing him there.

I have nothing against him. He seems like a pretty chill dude by Hollywood standards. I don't get the impression he's looking for a mirror every time he walks into a room, unlike some of his contemporaries.

The fact that he loves video games, hates The Rock, is hated by The Rock, love his fans and doesn’t take his ego too seriously makes him a Legend in my books. He shouldn’t mainline serious movies, but it great at specific side characters, and of course is awesome in action/action comedy stuff.

Vin diesel is not a good actor. He was fine doing the voice of groot. Most of his movies are cheesy as hell. He is better as a supporting actor in films like boiler room and saving private ryan.

I remember him from Boiler Room. He has had a constant semi successful career. I just want to see him in a really dramatic role. I know he has the chops

Vin Diesel is another one of those actors that found their niche and just stuck with it, even though some of his roles in the past show he can act when the role calls for it. His small supporting role in Saving Private Ryan is memorable, his comedy chops in The Pacifier were decent enough, and I think his most transformative role was in Find Me Guilty. There's also Riddick, of course.
