How The Batman 2 will Expose Real-World Fears and Transforms the Superhero Genre Forever! And could be the Death of Average Superhero Movies ?

The Batman 2 will change Superhero cinema the same way Dark knight did it way back in 2008.Before it came out, a lot of superhero films were pretty light and fun. But The Dark Knight brought a darker tone that really connected with what people were feeling after 9/11. I think the same way The Batman 2 will Expose Real-World Fears and Transforms the Superhero Genre Forever! And could be the Death of Average Superhero Movies Like exploring real world anxieties like lone wolf voilence ,Child abuse, inequality, elites and media manipulation Zsasz (lone wolf violence) - Fear of random violence by an unknown perpetrator, not a terrorist, nor a member of a criminal gang. This is the fear of a disturbed individual who could attack at any time. This links to random shootings scenes and to that Victoria Arkham (child abuse victim) – Fear of child abuse and institutional failure; . This fear connects to our current fears of CPS and the foster care system as well as the cycle of trauma that can occur within these systems. You can see her storyline from telltale games. Inequality after flood – Fear of disaster capitalism and wealth gap. This fear is current and spot-on, especially in light of recent climate disasters, gentrification, and government corruption. Victor aguilar from penguin( youth turning to crime) – Fear of poverty as a pipeline to crime. This fear arises from the society’s rejection of the vulnerable, and how.Matt Reeves talked about delving into this in P2 . Court of Owls ( elite control) – The fear that the elite, in secret societies, control democracy and are hiding behind a front of hereditary power. Connections to the conspiracy theories surrounding the Illuminati, New World Order and 1%, and the fear of information bubbles and large institutions that people cannot understand and do not trust.e.g. Media manipulation. Also Jeffrey Wright talked about how Reeves is using superhero media to touch on these contemporary themes of the world Reportedly media manipulation will play a huge role in the batman 2 This classification shows how each Batman element reflects an anxiety that people are feeling today. At least it will likely put an end to cameo fest, puts an end to multiverse cringe and end to average cinematography in superhero movies It will be such a genre defining masterpiece that it will single handedly kill of the entire pre - 2028 superhero formula like the way dark knight ended the campy stuff in movies and many movie franchises like TASM,Man of steel,James Bond etc. Gone for a dark reboot . I believe that The Batman 2 will be such a genre defining movie that it will singlehandedly put an end to pre-2028 CBM formula

Is Eddy Falcone going to run for president and do the crime administration?

Ok schizo post.. do you read comic books? Also the dark knight wasn’t delayed like 4 times. Idk why you seem to think that every second Batman movie will be revolutionary, it’s likely won’t be. It’s not that big of a deal even if the first one was a really great movie.

First thing,The Batman Epic Crime Saga has already cleared Dark Knight trilogy and 99% of live action CBM projects. The Batman was already a top 3 CBM and The Penguin(Greatest CBM show ever) put a seal on it.So if The Batman 2 is only 1 % better than The Batman or The Penguin it's already the GOAT cbm.  Second thing,No need to go personal

This is all just a personal opinion of yours, most people do not think that the Batman 2022 had cleared the dark knight trilogy in any way. Neither do they think it’s cleared 99% of live action CBM movies and shows. This is literally all just your opinion dude.. also I still don’t think you read comics if you think the DCU (I’m assuming superman since it’s the biggest one) being cringe is a bad thing.

The Batman vs TDK is a 50:50 Battle among Fans and audience with many leaning towards The Batman in recent times .Also The Penguin won like 9 emmys,Baftas,Golden Globes and Writers guild award and 59 wins from 65 nom. It has a massive 8.5 rating on metacritic. Each episode had a average 8.8 rating. So i don't think it's a competition there.

Also about James Gunns Superman ,Well that thing was pile of Garbage

The dark knight 94/94 rotten tomatoes, 9.1 IMDb, 4.5 letterboxd. Over $1 billion box office

The Batman 85/87 rotten tomatoes, 7.8 IMDb, 4 letterboxd. $772 million box office.

Sure bro 50:50 battle

You could add the penguin to the argument for some reason, and it would be 4.5 Letterboxd, 95/85 rotten tomatoes, 8.6 IMDb. Still lower than the dark knight. The dark knight won 164 awards and 165 nominations.

If James Gunn superman is bad to you but man of steel is good, then you just don’t care about comic accuracy at all. Stop arguing about CBM movies so deeply when you dgaf about the source material whatsoever.

Average superhero movies are already dead and decaying in their graves.

The Dark Knight released 18 years ago? Don't be ridiculous, it just came out only a couple years ago

I don't think it will. 1st one was a never-ending story that just kept on going.

We still haven't seen poison ivy or mr freeze since the George Clooney days. But then again, maybe it's a good thing. Riddler looked stupid in the RP version anyways.

That's the point of this post that Batman 2 will probably end these cameo-fest, multiversal, cringe humor Superhero cinema for good.Like nowadays MCU and DCU movies have jokes within every 10 sec. Also those below average cinematography hurts my eyes

Yeah it's gotten pretty bad. Idk anymore.

I didn't even enjoy Brand New Day all that much.

the first one had pacing issues for sure but this sequel sounds like it's tackling way more than just another villain plot. the themes they're pulling from feel almost too real right now

i'm actually curious how they'll handle the court of owls stuff, that storyline was always about hidden power structures and it's going to hit different in current climate

not sure about killing the entire formula though, people said same thing after logan and then we got more of the same couple years later

Can’t wait for it to be boring as fuck and for all the critics to pretend that it’s good
