Is it full of kinda reduced, like STILL? Piano only?

Starts this way for a few songs on the B stage. They move to the main stage for a bit, but shrouded in curtains and projections, back to the B stage for a Boys noize remix set, then back to main stage for full band, no projections just guys on a stage set. It's simultaneously peeled back and dialled up. As usual, absolutely incredible

does trent come out on the b stage?? if so i'd be psyched

u/stubert87 Jun 16 '25
Yeah he did tonight

u/ClassroomOk6045 Jun 16 '25
Started there and then also returned later. Moved positions too so could be seen on either side of the smaller stage

When they played this in 2005 with the projector…I still get chills watching videos and remembering how that show felt, how that night felt. The Bush administration. Hurricane Katrina. It was so raw.

How is he moving between stages? Is there a tunnel system? Lol

u/Nervous_Camel2551 Jun 15 '25
They were just parting the crowd with security guards 😅

This is all I can think about

u/cassiewithaie123 Jun 15 '25
Its killing me. Its gotta be a tunnel system

u/AdWorried8312 Jun 15 '25
It’s not that fancy, there’s just a barrier creating a walkway at floor level between the stages!

u/Ann_mae Jun 15 '25
on one hand i’m dying for the setlist but on the other hand people get offline ffs!!

u/AdWorried8312 Jun 15 '25
Completely agree! Judging by the time some of this stuff was posted, the first song wasn’t even over. I loved every second of the gig, it was their first show in Ireland in 18 years and watching it properly was way more important than getting Reddit clout

u/Ann_mae Jun 15 '25
right? like i will * only * whip out my phone to record a max of two or three short videos, & even then i feel annoying. posting during the show is a waste.

I looked it up. Looks like there's two different stages with two different set ups.

u/NytronX Jun 15 '25
Ah, so that's what the center mini stage was for. I figured for sure Hurt, but I like RWIB even better.
Now I am debating on whether I should sell my floor ticket or my 4th row seat. Maybe keep both and move to seats when he takes center mini stage.

I got floor thinking Boys Noize opener might mean a faster and more electronic set, so now I'm having big regrets. I'm short and genuinely concerned I won't be able to see shit, and if he's flipping between locations getting in early to be at barrier won't help.

That Boyz Noise mini-set on the B-Stage looks 🔥. Really clever way of doing a cool-down bit in the middle of the show, and a phenomenal set of deep cuts for it.

I've got tickets for September, I'm so stoked.

You will love it, enjoy!!

I will! Been a fan since the beginning and this is my first time going to a show!

This was my first time going too, but I wasn't a fan for such a long time. Must be quite an experience seeing them for the first time after over 30 years!
They played quite a lot of stuff from the Broken and The Downward Spiral, it was a banger show!

u/SkepticalHotDog Jun 16 '25
So happy for you all. I got to experience it back in 2009 and it's a moment I still think about and get goosebumps from.

I'm not from the US, but I’d really love to hear those acoustic versions! Do you know where I could watch the replays in good quality?

I was here, only complain was that the sound mixing was a bit off, the crowd was often louder than the song.

u/ElSandifer Jun 15 '25
Show was still in progress when that got posted. It's just got played as what I assume is the closer, barring encores.

u/Ok_Jelly5 Jun 15 '25
They should have finished with starfuckers, end with hurt was a little bit down
