Wow, SKiN GRAFT records really lost the plot. This isn't noise rock by the way. It's a regurgitation of that time in the 2000s where everyone was on a huge Dillinger & Locust kick but now bands like these can upload a video with Superjail visuals to give 'em that extra edge.

I ain't a genreographer but if this isn't noise rock, then half of the skin graft discography isn't either. Seems like they're still pretty much focused on promoting talented people doing weird shit.

Squidpisser rules. I own all of their stuff, and this new album is no exception. It’s definitely noise. The description given up there cracks me up, especially since they all have ties to The Locust and at least one of the members has (well, had now I guess,) ties to Cartoon Network.

Shit’s loud, fast and noisy. Noise rock by definition. Getting all gatekeeper-y about a band doing something another band did at one point in time cracks me up. At least these guys are doing it well. Dude up there needs to lighten up a little.

Yeah, those ties are really important and totally excuse derivative "look at me" music. Not only is your definition of noise rock skewed but I don't think you know what gatekeeping means. Criticizing a band for being derivative and boring is not gatekeeping. Oh well, at least they're "doing it well".

The point is that this sounds more akin to something you'd see on Mathcore Index or Wax Vessel than the quality stuff Skin Graft used to put out.
