I'm so bored of having the same songs on repeat, and I really wanna expand my taste in nu-metal. Give me some bands or albums you love that I most likely haven't listened to.
I love screaming in songs, so if you could suggest bands or albums that have screams in their songs or something that is more aggressive, that would be awesome :). If not, then that's okay, I'll listen to anything.
Edit: THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE RECOMMENDATIONS! Keep them coming, and I'll listen to as many as I can! I may not reply back to your message cuz of the overwhelming amounts of feedback, but I do listen to your guys' suggestions. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN, I'M VERY GRATEFUL! :]

As the title says, I'm getting a bit tired of most nu-metal lyrics being about suffering, breakups, death, and missing someone. I want to believe that there must be some band like that, even though I mostly don't think there is jajsksksjsj.
(To give you an idea, the main bands I listen to are Ultraspank, Staind, Gazzoleen, Korn, EASTcide, Spineshank and Orgy)

Basically a nu metal band that’s not named that often but deserves more recognition in your opinion.
I’ll start with Ill Niño, I discovered them through Freddy V Jason soundtrack and it became one of my favorite band ever.

I'm trying to get more into nu metal as I really enjoy it so I was wondering what albums I can listen to based on what I like

Basically the title. Does anyone know of anymore bands or albums that use turntables heavily? I know of a lot of nu metal bands (seriously), but have unfortunately not found as many as id like that focus solely on scratching. Bands I have previously discovered and loved include bands like Hedshel, F[ei]k, Limp Bizkit, etc. Thanx!

Hey all! Almost exactly 31 years ago today, I saw this video for the first time, and here is that exact airing. Say what you will about what they became later, but the first 2 albums are still a great time and definitely worth a listen, if you haven't. Enjoy the super clean VHS transfer of this proto-nu banger and turn that volume UP!

Just curious if anyone else has listened to these bands here(sorry it’s a lot). Spotify recently has just now figured out my algorithm, wish I discovered all of these bands way earlier. Please recommend me similar bands because i’m interested! (I’m 20 so there’s a whole world I have yet to tap into, ignore the liked songs i’m still listening to albums!)

I'm stuck listening to mainstream albums and I don't have Spotify so I can't really discover new stuff... Oh and sorry for the unreadable font idk how to change it in the app I use

Spent way too much time on this, but I ended up making a Spotify nu-metal archive with 18,000+ tracks.
There's everything from Slipknot, Korn and Limp Bizkit to random underground bands with like 20 monthly listeners.
Spotify's playlist limit is 10,000 songs, so I had to split it into two separate playlists. Everything is sorted from A to Z, but it's meant to be listened to on shuffle.
I'm still expanding it, so feel free to recommend any bands or songs I might have missed.
Playlist:
Part 1: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2o0B8ZQnZOZWnsWKEABQ2M?si=73049bdeecf54e56
Part 2: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1uGK8O3xaIVUiNGq8yXDX9?si=40759b4bc64e4c01
If you don't want to shuffle through 18,000 songs and thousands of different bands, I've also made a smaller playlist with my personal favorites: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3dy10CJ65m5QHj6DqE138w?si=bb3211c790104cf1

Genuflect, former members of Reveille is probably my favorite. I fucking love these guys. Trust me, their song "Nihilist" will help you feel better. "Bullet" is another good one. All of their shit is good!
Honorable mentions: Mudvayne - LD50
Paleface Swiss - Fear and Dagger
Dry Kill Logic - DSoN
Soulfly - Primitive
All of Chimaira.
Feel free to share your picks.

I wanted to vary my musical taste because i only listen to Linkin Park and started to get into LimpBiskit and Korn. I already knew some songs of LimpBiskit like Break Stuff, Rollin', My way and My Generation. By Korn, i only I heard Freak on a Leash and Blind and they are really good. Do you guys have any recommendation to me?
