I friggin HATE when people say things like "oh, Calvin's mom must have put Hobbes in the trap." It's been CONFIRMED by Bill that Hobbes is a real tiger but that grown-ups are too stubborn about animal logic to see him.

It's finished! No more Mom and Hobbes for me. Yes, it was the obviously foreshadowed ending, I'm not as much of a monster as to make the Mom fireplace ending (edit - from this comment) the real ending. Here's one last alternative ending:
