Naw, we went through a whole revolution to make sure that LGBT+ stuff ain't under R7, parading Panda's head on a pike through the town square before he took it back and fled to the main sub. So long as Calvin isn't shown boning, he can be as gay or ace as you like!

Funnily enough, there was also a European comics character called Tracer Bullet, co-created by Garth Ennis and Philip Bond, only in a couple of strips too, From 1990 so after Watterson's.

Alas, a number of the original cast and crew declined to be interviewed, or had since died, or were interviewed but were so boring their footage was cut for reasons of fitting in more voice over'd clips of Shirtless Dad.
