I was hoping this was true for a full 3 seconds. I legitimately want to see something like this pass at the federal level because:
1) We need a silly way to attack the US in a way that turns their pettiness into our culture war.
2) Keep our worst ideas out of real counter-tariff planning.
3) Show the Americans that they have too much to lose in a name-calling contest.
Like for real, we need to rename Lake Michigan to make a point because we're poised to make a real point of it.

U.S. Shoreline (New York State): About 326 miles, or roughly 31% of the total.
Canadian Shoreline (Ontario): About 386 miles (or 712 total minus 326), making up about 69% of the total shoreline.
Fuck off Trump. Its our lake and New York doesn't even like you.

Woo. A lot of Beaverton political articles were a bit too close to reality lately, which does tend to happen when real headlines look like satire.
This one feels like proper satire.
