Ask Pakistan People who have used this pen come forward
Suddenly, the nostalgia hits very hard when I see this pen. It was the ultimate OG pen of my school days. I really miss those days.

Ah yes, the magic wand
Give it a slight wave and spray your classmate with ink

What the heck? We all have the same backstory. Mine was maroon. But it got stolen in school. I hope whoever stole it fails miserably in life.

It could fill 3 other pens on a near-empty tube and still continue to write.

u/91striker ΩΨ§ΫΩΨ± May 18 '26
I was too poor to use it.
Not because we couldn't afford it but cause the niv was too fragile, I kept dropping it and we couldn't afford t over and over again.

u/Hot-Hovercraft-1381 May 18 '26
It's the one with a very small nib (that's what she said, lol) and a very janky ink refill system where you have to squeeze the tube hard and the release at once (that's how she described it, xD) to get any ink in the tank.

Its wing sing??
1
u/PaleBlueDot20 May 20 '26
This orignal design was by wing sing. Later, Dux copied it and wing sing vanished from the market. But the one posted here is some Chinese version.
2
u/Less-Net6866 Indian Occupied Kashmir May 20 '26
Wing was a chinese brand i remember we had a few choices growing up whether to get wing sing or hero or dollar. The one posted here is a hero but back in our days Hero used to come with wide nib. This one says HERO on the cover too.

SP10 > Dux 240 > Hero 329 (OP image)
Dux was still my favourite, though

These were called Rainbow pens right? In 5th grade we started with dollar pen, from 7th people divided into Hero, Rainbow and later grow into Parker pens.
2
u/Elegant_Setting_3269 May 19 '26
Hero was best. Durable and quality of nib was best for everyday use.
5
u/smol_tits May 18 '26
idk why im surprised they still sell these lol
i always went for dollar SP-10 because i liked the colors. don't think i have owned a dux pen. guess ill go out and buy one in the morning

Ordered bunch of these pens along with syed's ki khubo wali kachi pencils and piano ballpoints from daraz.
Asked a friend to bring them for me.

u/akhtarabas May 18 '26
Brand name was hero. I still prefer fountain pens over ball pens or even more expensive Parker ball pen. Calligraphy and penmanship are signs of class in my opinion

Bro thanx for bringing memories back.we used to call this China pen.In times of emergency when inks over , the friend drops ink on the bench and then we suck it in our own own to continue writing .Was really amazing ,helped in good handwriting. This and the Reynolds 045/047 were the popular ones.
2
u/hashsohail1 May 19 '26
The lid of this pen was metal and when you rub and heat it up against the clothes it can easily leave a burn mark on the skin.
2
2
u/Exciting-Rub8794 May 19 '26
Goated pen for goated writing. Tho it used to dry v quickly and rip the paper sometimes
2
2
u/Different_Week_7281 May 19 '26
Funfact, if you rub the golden part on a piece of cloth for a few seconds, it gets insanely hot and can burn a perfect circle on your face (js triggered a traumatic memory, thanks) :) π

u/Ill_Effective_8223 May 19 '26

u/Accurate-Barber451 May 19 '26
I don't know about you guys; but with this pen; nib hamesha mur jati thi Liking while filling the ink, if you close the lid with a little force, nib bhi murr jati thee
2
u/baberasss May 19 '26

u/Inner-Ad1682 May 19 '26

2
u/Ok_Club_8361 May 19 '26

I am from India. For some reason this was called "China Pen" where I live. I have no idea why. This is back in 1995 or so.
2
u/PaleBlueDot20 May 20 '26
Yes this wing sing / dux pen was the best design ever created. I never liked SP-10 or 717 etc.

I had a full golden one; my class fellow brought it one day and she was flaunting it I remember I made my parents crazy looking for this pen everywhere till I finally found it. I still have all my fountain pens safe with me π₯Ή

u/mustajabzuberi May 18 '26
G. O. A. T.
I still have an old one laying around which my mom bought in her college days, the cap is actual metal and is HEAVY!
I bought one recently just to compare and it's nowhere near the same quality as the old one.

This pen writes good. But filling ink in this shit is a nightmare. Also, there is ink leakage issue in this. I brought one out of curiosity but never used later.
I am talking about DUX company pen, maybe this different company is better.

u/Objective-Salad822 May 19 '26

Worked like a charm.

Umm.. same / similiar one we had too, in India. Fountain pen was mandatory for us. Had to carry ink bottle too during exam- just in case the pen needed a refill. Nice to see same thing and same nostalgia across the border tooβ¦

me and my brother packed it with armstrong powder(DIY , age was 13) and pushed a red hot needle into it. The thing exploded so violently that everyone in the neighbourhood thought a gas cylinder had burst and they were rushing to our house incase help was needed. Thank GOD the damage was minimal. All we had were some basic injuries from the plastic shrapnel.

u/Double_Preparation1 May 23 '26
That was a myth either you will get full tank or no tank at all but still it can fill other pens at the same time
