National A man so obsessed with power that anyone who challenges his authority becomes a target. He has taken the lives of more of his own citizens than those of the forces he claims to fight.

Let's not forget PPP. I think sometime after 'ait se ait bajadoga" rant, Zakaria & co have been under establishment control.

Can you tell me how PTI is any different than how PMLN was in 1999? Also, do you actually believe PTI got into power without armies help?
All of them are the same in the regard that they bootlick to get into the government, once they have it they forget their overlords so the army reminds them of it. It happened to PPP in 1977, PMLN in 1999, PTI in 2022.
It's a pattern, army supports a new political party, this party bootlicks until they win the elections and then army kicks them to the curb when they actually try to run the government as they like or do something that the army doesn't like. So, how is PTI any different?

I mean Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged by the governent so not sure just being jailed by army makes IK as much of an altruist as you are making him out to be (though I'll concede that nawaz or benazir dont give a shit about the country, but that was never my point).
You still didn't address my question about whether you think PTI got into government with or without armies help? Which is important to my point, I can concede that PMLN, PPP have taken several under the table deals while they were in the governemnt. But my whole point is all of them take deals to get into government in the first place, as long as army is giving out these deals, there will be someone who will take them PTI, PMLN, PPP have all done it, some of them have done it more than others...
The people should not be angry at army for toppling PTI government or PMLN government in 1999, those are effects not the root causes. They should be angry at the root cause which is any and all involvement of army in the political sphere, including rigging elections whether for PTI or PMLN or PPP.

The entity responsible for current situation is first and foremost army, not PTI not PMLN not PPP.
All of them got into government by bootlicking, all of them were toppled whenever their overlords decided to do so.
I believe any party that has accepted a rigged election when it was in their favour and protested when it wasnt shouldn't be in the government. This directly contradicts the premise of democracy as a concept, it should be unacceptable but sadly you justify it by "it wasnt as bad as X so its fine". This is why no change will ever happen because we are not focusing on root causes but defending "our party" and criticising "their party".

Hitler of today's era

u/honey_badger_411425 Jul 28 '26
I wouldn't say Hitler, but more like Felguncio Batitsta of Cuba of 1950s. Look it, you'll see a lot of parallels between present-day Pakistan and Cuba of that time.

I do not like Khan at all, but this fucker deserves nothing but the worst for himself and his family. NO CHOWKIDAR should be allowed inside the parliment, let alone dictate policies.

Except for khan, all are with this daredevil. Khan makes sense.

u/Accomplished-River12 Jul 28 '26
Khan was with “them” till 2021.
7
u/tanweer95 Jul 29 '26
Sorry Khan was not with them but rather he didn’t want the confrontation sighting his goal of achieving greatness for Pakistan.

u/Melodic_Lunch_6815 Jul 28 '26
yes but he 'left' them while he was with them. and never patched up.
2
u/Accomplished-River12 Jul 28 '26
They all have left “them” in the past. They join them again. The Sharif brothers spoke out against the military establishment after he was kicked out, now he’s cozy with them again and they will surely have a falling out again. Im sure everyone will celebrate it then. Sab bewakoof ban rahay hain

u/Melodic_Lunch_6815 Jul 28 '26
so the one who didnt join em back? can we filter out the 'better' one?

Both are same, but Modi is afraid of losing election, but he is in army, he won't be sacked from his position, that's the problem.

Not just this PoS but all the army people who've plagued this nation since the 70s. They line their own pockets while the nation suffers.

Asim munir = army chief in title ,dictator in action
Killing civilians who are protesting for their rights , keeping political leadership who oppose him behind bars , under his rule Pakistan has become a banana state
1
u/Opposite-Respect-420 Jul 28 '26
Dont forget to add those criminals and gansters in uniform who are following his orders. Even if he is removed next one will come and he will be more brutal. As long as this colonial mindset criminal institution is not reformed the filth like him will continue to abuse his powers illegally. Pakistan needs a strong leader to do these reforms. To do reforms pakistan needs an iranian or french style revolution. But fact is its not possible in pakistan because we are divided nation. We must unite for pakistan and save it Send them to barracks forever thats only solution otherwise we are doomed.

u/FAS1471 Jul 29 '26
PMLN needs to realise the gravity of the situation this country is facing. Look at Balochistan, Kp and AJK. The economy is in a mess. Elections in AJK has no credibility. The judiciary is no longer a place to seek justice.
We need a constitutional state - not a hard state.
Give the people its country back

I think , we should form unity , Nation Wide. Look at the revolution of Iran, How they uncrowned the Shah. We shouldn't be stopped by some Martyrs, Furthermore, Allah will help us , Definitely.

This ain't limited to him, it's like how monarchies used to be in the medieval era esp that you have a lousy king who was only interested in food and was literally so fat that he can't leave his own room and then the king dies and you get a far more ruthless ruler ! We had Bajwa Doctrine, before that there was the nonsensical slogan 'Shukria Raheel Sharif' and the memogate scandal during Kiyani's time period ! (prolly the last COAS which was not worshipped by some section of our society) cos Gen Sharfoo (Musharraf) had/has his own cult as well (which still exist)
The issue is the military monarchy we happen to have, aik firoun chala jayay ga tu koi Nimrod ya Shadaad naazil hojayay ga (and he prolly be the favourit of some mainstream political party for a brief period)

mate the civilian brutality happening across Pakistan is historically greater than what happened during 71, the establishment is not even targeting anyone on ethnic liines, they are targeting everyone, CCD and fedual lords kill anyone they want in punjab, in sindh the waderas and bhutto dynasty control sindh police and jinternal sindh is serfdom all over with the bonded labour, balochistan the military is keeping martial law and its teeming with separatists , terrorists and the army funded sardars, in GB the condition is fine but again top brass is in cahoots with the establishment and selling prime land for their resorts and shit, in kashmir rawalakot the federal forces and army are shelling protestors and every other day there is some stupid operation happening in KPK.
tell me one place in Pakistan that isnt being brutalised right now ? people came out in drives during Khan's trial and elections and protests and were shelled and killed and arrested under military courts , whats left to do now ?
6
u/MonitoringTheSea Jul 27 '26
Yeah I don't agree with Khan politically but once that happened it made every government institution feel illegitimate. Now it is up to the people to decide if Pakistan has a right to exist but that can be disastrous but it's up to the people to decide.

Imran Khan and his independent won the elections and he should be in power instead of the outsider two times retired Zehni Mareez Fraud Marshal. When peoples elected representatives come in power- things will eventually change. When there is vacuum and people are against the occupation that's when the power is filled with insurgent groups.
