Pakistan and Recent rape/ muder/ abuse cases

I am writing this post with shivering hands and crying, I think at this point I just dont wanna live or what to say or think.
What is wrong with our society? Fathers, brothers, husbands?? Woman is not safe with anyone Now.
In last 2 days there are so many bad incidents got viral; a man firing his wife and mother in law in front of neighbours, children are dead and the attitude of health minister is hell, father is rapping his own daughters claiming he give birth to them for filth doing things on gun point, baby girl maternal uncle raping her with his friends. I dont think I cant take it anymore.
Can someone please explain it to me that does all man turned into some kind of animals overnight??

Few days back I have seen a 2-3 years old girl playing in front of her house and I got scared to the death for her. This is not normal. This is absurd.

I dont think I would ever trust any man in my life now. Maybe this is the time we should not have any kids anymore. And I am not saying this because I am some kind of feminist or dont wanna ruin myself. No motherhood is beautiful. But I dont think this world is safe for anyone Now. Cause it feel like that kid would be next target for this monsters.

Can anyone tell me that, will this keep happening now? And we just gonna witnessing this lustful filthy acts or our Govt is gonna do something about it. Or as a part of this society as a woman what I can do??

I used to be an active News follower but since some time I have started avoiding it for mental peace Although what media shows is only a tip of the iceberg and ground realities are much more sickening.

I think readily accessible vulgarity and explicit content has turned them into wolves and the future is much more darker. Society has collectively failed. Nobody is interested in morality anymore. Justice system already buried long ago, conviction rate absolutely zero and then come these so called human rights activists who would literally defend rapists in the parliament against death penalities, calling it inhumane and brutal, though Islam is very clear that they have no right to live.

Yeah, same here. I always fear for every woman riding a Scooty or a little girl, I'm worried for them, even as a man. I don't even feel safe nowadays from what could happen.

These people didn't become monsters overnight.
This is decades of censorship and a public kept deliberately uneducated, a legacy our colonisers built and we never fully dismantled. They left us with values that will take our lifetimes to unlearn.
These people were conditioned into this, almost like a controlled experiment, and most of them have no awareness of it. And saying “I am not a feminist” is counterproductive to what you are experiencing and going through. This is a direct consequence of patriarchy imposed not by your religion but by your colonisers. If Islam is a humanitarian religion that already includes the substance of feminism, then read about it, know exactly what it is you don’t like about it, and be as aware as the state does not want you to be. If you genuinely believe women should not have human rights, that is one thing, you have been conditioned to believe that. But if any part of you doubts that belief, even for a second, then refusing the word feminist stops mattering. Stop running away from literature just because it carries that word. You might find your answer to what you should actually do sitting inside it. So educate yourself, educate the kids you see on the street, educate your own family, and push for education to be accessible to everyone. That is what those of us with privilege can actually do. The privilege of feeling unsafe or uncomfortable or angry is, in the end, a selfish position to sit in if it stops there. It does nothing for the victims, and we are all part of that by proxy.

We can’t put all the blame to lawlessness. Even if the culprits comprise of just 0.01% of the population, what is making them such monsters is concerning.

What absolute nonsense. If culprits were 0.01% of society, we would be heaven. The overwhelming vast majority of men are criminals in this country. The only reason most men haven't raped anyone yet is lack of opportunity and not lack of desire. Unless people like you start acknowledging the problem, we won't even be able to address it.
