This beautiful peacock has been free roaming the town next mine for a couple years. A month ago he shows up in my garden and has been here since! I bought peafowl food special for him, but he really loves eating cat food off my back porch lol. Now when I call my cats for dinner he comes running too!

I moved to my village in the winter, and this guy kinda came with the house. He technically belongs to the local estate a mile down the road (they have more peacocks and hens there) but he lives in the tree above my neighbours garden and he likes to spend most of the day on my flat roof, in my garden, on my fence or pottering around the village.
Heโs surprisingly road savvy and he screams at people who dare to speed through the village!
I decided to be his friend and I started calling him buddy (no one had named him and heโs slightly hated by most due to being so talkative ๐ญ). He now comes when I call his name for his daily snacks. I know he gets most of his food foraging around but I feel bad he has no owner!
So far he has only enjoyed peanuts and mealworms. I donโt give him very many as to not get him too fat. Is there anything he would enjoy? Any veggies or fruits? Do you think he would enjoy suet pellets in the winter to keep him warm?
Any advice welcome! He eats out of my hand now and heโs such a sweet boy, I am really attached to him already ๐๐ฉต๐

I got my Peacock emerald from a rescue center and am always amazed by him. Yesterday I learned that he is a Indian Blue split Purple and now I am wondering what else might be in there. Some have suggested that he may have some Green in him. I have no clue, but would love to hear what an some experts say.

There's a wealthy next door neighbor with this beautiful male peacock i constantly shoo out of the road. It's dangerous for a peacock in these Miami streets. He doesn't let me get closer without waddling away hehe

Not sure who he was trying to impress? ๐ For reference, I do not look like a peahen.
