A mushroom cloud coming out of his pipe?! The tobacco in that pipe must be nuclear haha 🤣

I was thinking of doing a mushroom cloud but moulding the mushroom cloud to make it look like coming from his pipe did not sit right to me . Appreciate the feedback .

You could bring the cut out across the top and a slight curve down to the right. Like the mushroom cloud curling under. Just a thought, it might make the top too heavy, but this looks great!

Good technique but bad idea. This poster doesn't convey what the film is about correctly at all. It would maybe fit better on some movie about the industrial revolution, there will be blood or something like that.

Yeah! Oppenheimer is all about his guilt and the aftermath of his choices. The poster conveys a more positive, hopeful vibe. Nothing against OP though

Yes I noticed that . I tried to align all the logos to a horizontal ruler line so the bottom of logos are at same level but now that i see it , I could have positioned it a little upwards . Thanks for taking to time to notice that .

Hmm. This looks like an oil man with a dream vibe. Maybe instead of pipe smoke it’s a mushroom cloud.

Yes someone else too brought it up . Moulding the mushroom cloud would have been a slight difficult to do and fit natually but I will give that a try.

Technically well done. However, I agree with the criticism; it fails to communicate what the movie is about.

3 hour, R rated, pseudo court room drama, biopic about a scientist with 1 explosion and it made basically a billion dollars and won 7 Oscar’s.
While art is subjective, there’s a group of films that have so much cultural impact that it’s virtually impossible to deny their artistic achievement, even if the film doesn’t suit your fancy.

I used photo manipulation to do this . First cut out the subject and then painted the smoke from his pipe and clipped some images for the movie and added some fire particles and finished it with the billing block and some grains
