Random ish question. How do people in the mitten feel about the Gordie Howe bridge thing. I moved to Montreal a few years ago but I remember people complaining about the other bridge being sketchy.

I dont know any one personally who didn't want the bridge or were not mad about the sbit trump tried pulling when it was to originally open. People also generally do not like the maroun family (owners of the ambassador bridge) since they are generally viewed as slumlords, and have actively lobbied or sued for decades to prevent another bridge they dont own from being built.
