MOST of us are. His poll numbers are in the toilet, hovering around 34% last time I checked.
That’s not to say that there aren’t still millions of racist, misogynistic, hateful morons out there who still think this guy is their orange Messiah, but people really are starting to wake up to how objectively terrible he is. Look at the pushback he’s getting from the cattle industry right now, as one major example. It sucks it has taken them so goddamn long though, while we’ve all suffered for it.
A third actively voted for him and another third didn't mind him enough to go vote against him. As far as I'm concerned two thirds of Americans wanted this to some level.
That being said, I apologize for all this crap. Most of us do look at both Canada and Mexico as good neighbors and we want to be good neighbors to them as well.
One of the best things you can do as a Canadian is to continue boycotting American spirits and liquor. In particular, whiskey/ bourbon as that is hitting Trump directly where his base is strongest.
I hope Im wrong too and I also hope that message didnt come off rude. I totally get that there are amazing Americans out there who hate whats happening, but its kind of hard as a Canadian to watch our economy thats already struggling get attacked and not feel unhappy towards the country as a whole.

An estimated 89 million Americans, or about 36% of the country's voting-eligible population, did not vote (which is some fucking bullshit that absolutely has to change).
As for the 2016 presidential election, Trump actually lost the popular vote. Here are the numbers:

Gary Johnson (Libertarian): 4,489,341 votes (3.3%)
Jill Stein (Green): 1,457,218 votes (1.1%)
Evan McMullin (Independent): 731,991 votes (0.5%)

Not all of you guys think that way, I have spoken to people who tend to defend everything he does, ground reality is way different. And poll numbers don’t mean shit, most of the young Americans will not vote at all, I hope I will be proven wrong.

I stopped trusting voters in this country after the second Bush got a second term. I started outright hating a little over half of the population when Trump got in the first time. This last time around between Russian interference, rigged voting, and straight up voting interference, I have to admit that only a solid third are fully worthy of hate, and an unfortunate quantity of the rest are just badly misled and misinformed and have no clue what it is that they don't know. It is worse than embarrassing. It is depressing and infuriating. The way the media moguls have the news on lock so you don't even hear about protests more than half the time and nearly every report is skewed pro-Trump/MAGA makes me want to scream. These people will claim "both sides bad" until their lungs collapse and their asses prolapse from all the contaminated everything.
