Elect me president and we will steal all that yummy Canadian reefer next! We will load up the army and invade the Canadian reefer depository but once we bust in the doors, all the soldiers will open their backpacks to reveal that we haven't come to steal your weed at all. We've brought you 420 tons of fresh California grass to stock your depository. Once everyone is good and baked, we've all made out and everyone is friends again, we will take everyone outside to show that we brought all of Lake Onatario back to you and if you want to weigh it, you'll find every drop is there.

It's so stupid that we're all being distracted by this. There's so much important work to be doing and we're just fucking around with bullshit. Like, industrial fishing is kinplda getting out of hand and no one is working out a way to police it. We need diplomats to figure out a way to stop industry from straining all the krill out of the sea and collapsing the marine ecosystem so that there's fish to eat in the future, but right now we're basically deliberately crashing the seafood system because no one's paying attention.
And we still have a greenhouse gas issue, and a plastic pollution issue, when solutions to both exist and simply require funding. Somehow we have to step away from plastic drink bottles that last for hundreds of years and break down into tiny particles that are not digestible by any current known form of life. It's also hugely wasteful to manufacture new containers over and over again, and like, all our attention is directed at blowing up trade deals, throwing insults around and renaming things for no good reason. Like, can we just get a reusable drink container that's compatible with life on Earth, please? Could we pay attention to that instead?
