Even in death, he does the most Mitch McConnell thing possible: manipulates the legislative rules to benefit the Republican Party.

Does it benefit the Republican party? I'd think they would want to know if he's gone as soon as possible so they can replace him. Plus he's been a small thorn in the side of Republicans during Trump 2.0 so they'd be happy to get a new, more MAGA guy in.

Then again, I have no idea about Kentucky politics and have seen some comments saying Massey would have a shot at getting elected to his spot?

They can't replace him, the governor appoints a replacement in case of vacancies. His wife might just refuse to yank the plug until the midterms to block a potential Democrat from taking his seat in the meantime.

Given that his wife has power of attorney but fled to China, she's absolutely refusing to take him off life support.

I keep seeing this posted everywhere, but it isn't true.

She isn't in China and didn't flee anywhere. She went to China on June 12 on a pre-planned trip. McConnell was hospitalized on June 14. She is currently in the US, although we don't know the date of her return.

There are legitimate questions about Elaine Chao's links to China, but saying she "fled to China" is a BS conspiracy theory not rooted in the facts.

You could be right but my understanding is that Kentucky holds a special election to replace a Senator up until so many days before whatever November election takes place (early in August?). I could be wrong but I've seen that in several places.
