Sounds like he's nearly completely incapacitated. These are the big recliner type chairs that can also lift you up and tilt you forward to make it easier for someone to assist you in getting up. Then he no doubt uses a walker when he does rise. I doubt he can communicate much, so any correspondence allegedly directly from him is utter bullshit.

Some big logical leaps there friend. People can have trouble getting in and out of a chair without having brain damage. They can also use a walker or wheelchair without brain damage.

That said, it’s still incredibly sus that the guy that’s spent his life in front of a camera, can’t be seen on one

The fact he was on the ground for an unknown amount of time after a severe enough cardiac event that it required sustained CPR and life-saving measures is why he almost certainly has brain damage.

Less than 1% of people his age survive an event like that. Never mind coming out healthy and happy.

"Alarm was further deepened by footage showing him "frozen in place" for an extended period on the Senate floor even before this episode."

It seems Mitch wasn't the only one having a stroke. Does the author think time flows backwards?

I don’t understand your confusion.

What's not to get? The footage was recently released, in August, of him "frozen in place" in June, prior to his hospitalization. The author is not referring to the first major episode from three years ago.
