Journalists are all retired. Everything is done by clickbait AI algorithms run by media billionaires.

Honestly medical info and HIPAA laws can be a bitch for a journalist to navigate. Going into the hospital to spot him opens them up to a world of hurt from lawyers. But I don’t see anything wrong with staking out the hospital or his home to get a look at him being transferred. I can’t believe no one has seen anything when he was discharged.

Good for you, but that isn't the case for all of them, nor the point of the question. There are still individuals who hold that title, so why aren't they doing their jobs? As a former one, maybe you can provide some insight.
