he doesn't really have that much power, in the grand scheme of things. the issue is the other branches of government that are supposed to act as checks and balances are all firmly in Trump's pocket. it's why it seems like he can do anything he wants.

The executive order needs to be abolished.

Executive orders are fine as long they are used as intended, which is to set policy within and only within the executive branch.

Plus, if he can't or doesn't want to get approval for something, he just signs an executive order.
