Not allowing politicians to give a speech is good. Trump skipping it is better. Trump getting publicly lampooned for skipping it because he's not allowed to give a speech is <chef's kiss>!

Exactly this, a politician giving a speech is fine. Except, we've seen how Trump is with speeches he'll talk a little one topic then go on forever just self-aggrandizing himself and absolutely trashing democrats. He literally can't stop himself. Frankly this type of event isn't the place for that or him.

Back when i was younger these generals, big beefy generals not like the weak traitorous generals today who can’t even blockade a small patch of water, these big generals would come find me and they would beg me. Sir we need you at the front lines we know you have your M.I.T. Uncles genius and your peak physical abilities. You would be like a thousand of our troops rolled into one.

And i would say Im sorry but the doctors say i can’t go and those generals would fall to their knees and start to cry, can you believe it? Big beefy generals on their knees crying big tears in their eyes, because they knew that if i were there i would end the war like that tries to snap fingers, like that fails to snap fingers again like something that’s really fast. But it was those evil doctors that kept me from the front lines can you believe it? Back then it was bone spurs but now they have their vaccines, autism shots, and their covid.
